was history and geography student/teacher so went out to see the world. USA and Canada. In 1969 I spent 6 months hitching in Europe. then
received a Masters in History at the Univ. of South Dakota and then spent one year working on my PHD at the University of Cincinnati. No jobs in History, so i went back to Vermillion South Dakota and started a bike shop in 1973.
started wholesaling, moved to Texas in 1981
Never got back into teaching
